Pynn's Story
Pynn grew up very familiar with Alzheimer's disease, so she has always been curious about the brain and how it functions. Through her passions for music, design, biology/neuroscience, and innovation, she is excited to work with Prim in developing BrainJump to be both a helpful and impactful tool for those with Alzheimer's disease.

When asked about the reason behind BrainJump, Pynn said, "Growing up around Alzheimer's disease gave me the curiosity to observe its impact on patients' daily lives. After unexpectedly taking the same summer course on business and product design with Prim, we were inspired to apply the various concepts that we learned including design and innovation into a concept that we both share passionately: memory loss in the elderly. We decided specifically on Alzheimer's disease and Dementia since memory loss in extremely frequent in aging. We are very excited and look forward to what BrainJump can become in the future!"

Furthermore, aside from her experiences at home, Pynn has worked with the elderly before. "I have been to some elderly care homes around Connecticut with a music group from my school. I noticed that listening to music is something that makes the elderly incredibly happy, so I am very excited that we have a music element alongside other functions developed in our app!"

"After discussing with Prim about the many possible products or tools we could ever create, we decided to start with a simple and easy-to-use app. We hope that this will be a life-changing tool that will enhance the lives of patients with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease."
