Prim's Story

Prim grew up curious about the human brain, particularly cognitive processes, including decision making and memory. In elementary school, she learned about Alzheimer's disease through a movie that she watched. She was beyond fascinated by Alzheimer's from that second on. To further her understanding and knowledge of memory, in 8th grade, Prim conducted a lab experiment with a friend on the impact of the type of music on memory.

When asked about the reason behind BrainJump, Prim said, "Pynn and I unknowingly ended up taking the same summer course on business and product design this summer. After the course, we decided to put the insight, skills, and knowledge we had gained to use through a project. We discussed for a while and ended up choosing a topic we were both deeply passionate about: memory loss and the elderly."

After researching Dementia and Alzheimer's, as well as consulting a doctor, Prim said, "We were able to thoroughly understand the needs of the patients. Although we can not help these patients regain their memory, I hope that we can improve the quality of their lives through the app we are currently developing. Since one of my strongest passions is design, it has been very exciting to design an app targeting a specific audience. We are very excited and look forward to what BrainJump can become in the future!"
